Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin were one of the most influential and successful rock bands in history, helping to define the sound of hard rock and heavy metal in the late 1960s and 1970s. Formed by Jimmy Page, alongside Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham, the band combined blues, folk, and powerful guitar-driven rock to create a groundbreaking sound. With legendary tracks such as Stairway to Heaven, Whole Lotta Love, and Kashmir, and iconic albums like Led Zeppelin IV and Physical Graffiti, they built a legacy that continues to influence generations of musicians.
In recent years interest in Led Zeppelin memorabilia has increased greatly, aided undoubtedly by the group’s reunion concert in December 2007. The group signed extremely few sets of signatures in their ten-year-plus career compared to, say, The Beatles, and these are extremely sought after these days, particularly signed albums. There is also a high interest in posters from Led Zeppelin’s concerts. Again these are relatively thin on the ground, and consequently, when they do show up, they bring in consistently high prices.
